Self-Parking Car

Lexus released a new car that has the ability to parallel park. By itself. Supposedly, you line up the car and tell it where to park. Then it will manuveur into the open space. The car uses multiple sensors and cameras to detect objects such as other cars.

The current price for this car is $60,000. Lexus predicts the cost will go down as other manufacturers, including BMW and Mercedes, enter the market.

Can a 16-year-old use one of these cars on his/her driving test? Perhaps the car would fail because the cones are too small to detect in place of other cars. Besides, even if it could complete the parking job, it can't corner back for you.
